Internals are Penske– ensuring the best possible quality. They are rebound adjustable for tuning at the track or for improved compliance on the street. Rebound adjustable is often referred to as 1-way adjustable in the racing world, however, some other shocks are sold as “16-way adjustable” or various versions of this. 16-way are often simply 16 clicks of adjustment on rebound. I don’t advertise adjustments this way because if someone had 32-clicks of adjustment you’d be right to assume that means they have twice the adjustment range. However, this isn’t necessarily true.

These have been designed to deliver the best possible performance at a price point well below a typical set of double adjustable Penske shocks. You aren’t giving up performance, just the ability to adjust compression damping. On most Miatas, this adjustment provides too much range to be practical– more than a few extra clicks of compression causes a large drop-off in grip but can deceivingly feel better.
